Yes, please contact the ALCM home office for specific warranty information (216) 341-2000

Most ALCM coatings should not be applied when rain is forecasted within 24 hours. However, our wet/dry cements and HP 365 can be applied during wet conditions making it ideal for emergency repair work

You should wait to apply coatings until the surface is completely dry.

Please refer to the product data sheets for proper clean up instructions.

ALCM coatings should not be thinned in any way. Thinning the product will decrease the quality and tamper with the physical properties of the coating. This results in shortened longevity and potential failure of the applied product. Thinning ALCM coatings with solvents is a violation of VOC laws and regulations.

Primers are best used to restore oils to old, dry roofing felts and asphalt built up roofs due to weathering. It can also be used on weathered metal and previously uncoated concrete roofs.

Please refer to the product data sheets for specific cure times, but generally speaking allow at least 24 hours to cure. Thicker coating applications may take longer depending on weather conditions.

Please call our ALCM office at (216) 341-2000 and we will direct you to the nearest distributor of our coatings.

Dampproofing is defined as the treatment of a surface or structure to resist the passage of water in the absence of hydrostatic pressure. Waterproofing is the treatment of a surface to prevent the passage of water under hydrostatic pressure.

Hydrostatic pressure is the force which ground water in the soil exerts onto the foundation walls.

ALCM foundation products should be fully cured for at least 24-48 hours before backfilling. This will ensure proper protection and allow the coatings to perform as intended.

Black coatings and cements can be applied below freezing temperatures, however, emulsions and aluminum coatings should be applied around 50 degrees F or higher.

Make sure ALCM coatings are stored inside a heated building. If using in cold weather, only take out enough for a couple hours of work. Allow for longer dryer times than usual.

The life expectancy will vary due to a variety of factors including, but not limited to, age of the roof, proper application, weathering extremes, and maintenance. Please refer to the product data sheets for a better understanding of how to increase the longevity of ALCM products.

Temperatures should be between 60-70 degrees without a threat of rain in the forecast. On days above 65° F, lighten dampen the driveway prior to sealing. This will cool the driveway to allow additional time for spreading and makes it easier for the sealer to flow into small nooks and crannies.

Reflective roof coatings help to deter harmful UV radiation away from the roof surface extending the longevity and reducing the surface temperature of the roof. This allows the internal temperature of the building to remain cooler and helps reduce energy costs.

Our white elastomeric is compatible with EPDM rubber. Please refer to the data sheet for proper application instructions.

Our coatings can be sprayed. Please call our ALCM office at (216) 341-2000 for sprayer specifications for each product.
